Education Support
We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty and opening doors to brighter futures. Yet, for many vulnerable children, especially those being raised by grandparents or living in female-headed households, access to quality education remains a struggle. Financial challenges, lack of school materials, and household responsibilities often force children to miss out on opportunities to learn. Our education support programs aim to remove these barriers and ensure that every child has the chance to reach their full potential.
We provide scholarships to cover school fees and related costs, giving children from the most disadvantaged backgrounds the chance to stay in school consistently. These scholarships ease the financial burden on caregivers, particularly elderly grandparents, and ensure that children are not excluded from education due to poverty.
In addition, Kwa Wazee supplies children with essential school supplies such as uniforms, books, and stationery. These resources, though simple, make a profound difference in the classroom, allowing children to participate fully in lessons and build confidence in their learning journey.
We also invest in learning resources, such as textbooks, supplementary reading materials, and access to community study spaces. These resources help improve learning outcomes, support exam preparation, and nurture a love for education.
Our education support empowers children to dream beyond their immediate circumstances, equipping them with knowledge and skills to create a better future for themselves and their communities. Our initiative honours the resilience of older caregivers while giving the next generation the opportunity to thrive.
